Big Bill’s auto shop has been a staple of Venice for at least 30 years. A few months ago, he received an eviction notice and tonight, September 19, 2013, he is scheduled to vacate his establishment.

Tao Jones Venice bags & accessories was gracious enough to invite my beloved little creation Rabbit Kinney and my photography work to the Abbot Kinney Pop-Up shop during the summer weekends.

We will be there this Friday for First Fridays to officially kick-off the summer with all our goods, live music by JPS and DJ sets by Son of Sample.

Bloomingdale’s teamed up with A Window Between Worlds to help spread the word in ending domestic violence. 10% of all tracked sales on June 15 will be donated to AWBW.

The “I Can We Can” hand-painting project was also conducted, once again joined by the talents of the Disney show, “A Dog With A Blog.”

Our last day in Berlin coincided with the last day of “Karneval der Kulturen.” This is a 3 day event of international parade floats and some very serious partying. Due to the density of the crowd, I opted not to shoot, except for the handful below.

It’s been a few years since visiting Germany during a full European spring. I’ve never seen Verena’s garden in such splendor.
